Do you suffer from
hearing problems?
Hearing clearly is one of the joys in life. Have your ears checked regularly by your ENT doctor in Berlin (Charlottenburg/Wilmersdorf). Even if you “only” have a blocked ear, hear strange noises or ringing, or experience dizziness. Regular check-up’s will help you avoid secondary diseases such as sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSHL) or tinnitus.
What are the differences between sudden sensorineural hearing loss and tinnitus?
Sudden reduction or loss of hearing (SSHL)- – a sudden reduction or loss of hearing ability, without any apparent medical reason, usually in one ear. Everything sounds muffled, like having a cotton ball in your ear
Tinnitus – noises in the ear such as high-pitched whistling, hissing or ringing, only heard by the affected person (see Tinnitus).
Blockage of the ear by earwax can also impair hearing. So can an infection, loud noise, stress or even an anatomical malformation. Together we will find the solution in your ENT practice in Berlin (Charlottenburg/Wilmersdorf).
Our diagnosis and treatment
With various measurements, hearing tests, ear microscopy and balance tests, we identify the cause and eliminate it. Either using conservative therapeutic treatments (e.g. infusion therapy) or, if necessary, surgery.
